How to Help Pets Get Adjusted to the Move Too
Moving can stressful for the pets too. When you get stressed, they would feel it too. But one thing you should make sure is that they will not escape on the day of the move. That is why you need to put them in a safe place like a room on this day. Label the room so people will not enter it. Make sure that your pets have enough food and water there too though. Proper ventilation is also necessary. During the move make sure that your pets are comfortable. If you have pet dogs avoid having them put their heads out so they will not get nauseous. You should also put mats to keep the vehicle clean during the travel. Don't forget to give enough water and even exercise during travel as well. But never feed pets 3 to 4 hours before the travel. If you have to make stops and park, you should not leave your pets there. They could die because of extreme heat and extreme cold. Birds are also sensitive to sudden changes of temperature. Again, you should be complete on pet supplies from food to toys and beddings. Make sure that you have cleaning materials as well so not only will pets be clean and comfortable, you and your family will be as comfortable as well.
