Specialty Packing 101
Every house has items that cannot just be thrown together in a big packing box and then carted off to your new home. There are many things that require - or at least are best packed in special boxes that are made to house them during moves. Electronics are one prime example of these special items. They are as fragile as breakable plates and such, but they do have a lot of electronic parts and connections inside them that do not work well with the bolts and jolts of transport. And, they are expensive to boot, so it is important that they are well taken care of. This is where their boxes come in. If you are fortunate to still have their old boxes and foam padding stored somewhere in your home, then you are in luck. If not, you can always buy some specialty boxes for these items. The reason for this is precisely because electronics are delicate things that need to have their own specialized boxes. Just make sure that your old boxes are sturdy enough, and use generous amounts of packaging tape to seal all possible tears and openings that might rip of destroy the box while it is in transport. Other special items include picture frames, paintings, wines, and the like.
