So, dismantling the furniture is really the practical choice. You have the choice to do this yourself. But then you have to be sure that you have the skill to do it. Make sure too that you know how to put everything back when you get to your new home. Of course, you have put cushion on each part of every piece of furniture in order to protect it from scratches and damages. You'd have to use wrapping paper, bubble wrap or linen to do so. Then you need to box everything as well. Then for more protection, you need to secure the boxes with rope as well. If you think you will not be efficient in this task, you would be better off hiring the professionals to do the job. With their experience, they would surely know what to do.
